Dr. Arpan Nandra is a highly accomplished general dentist and the founder of Serenity Dental Care in Edison, New Jersey. With over 20 years of clinical experience, Dr. Nandra is a leader in “Complete Dental Care,” a philosophy that bridges the gap between oral health, airway function, and systemic well-being.
Advanced Clinical Expertise: TMJ, Airway, and Sleep
Dr. Nandra specializes in treating complex issues that extend beyond traditional dentistry. Her clinical focus includes:
- TMJ & Neuromuscular Disorders: Expert treatment of Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) and joint-muscle-related issues.
- Craniofacial Expertise: Advanced training in the Cervical, Craniofacial, and Temporomandibular Complex, allowing for a deep understanding of the structural links between the jaw, head, and neck.
- Postural Integration: A unique awareness of how body posture contributes to TMJ dysfunction and chronic muscle pain.
- Dental Sleep Medicine: As a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM), she has mastered protocols for treating sleep apnea and airway-related dental issues.
Education and Professional Training
Dr. Nandra earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) in 2004, following undergraduate studies at the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science. She completed an intensive residency at JFK Medical Center, focusing on comprehensive patient care, cosmetic dentistry, and dental implants.
She has pursued extensive advanced training at The Dawson Academy, where she has become highly proficient in functional occlusion and the “whole-system” approach to dental health.

We accept all PPO plans and offer Care Credit to our patients that do not have insurance. Contact our office to verify acceptance of your plan. We accept checks, cash, or credit cards. We also offer a flexible payment plan. Please see our Financial Coordinator for details. We are happy to file insurance for your reimbursement as long as you are free to choose your own dentist.
